About Parma for a Farmer
Rural Aid’s Parma for a Farmer campaign is back August 2020. By registering your venue or purchasing a Parmy from a participating Parm Army restaurant, you are helping rebuild rural Australia.
Registered Parm Army venues are dedicated to help rural Australia rebuild. These venues are supporting farmers by either donating a portion of every Parmy sold, or encouraging their diners to make a donation. Diners can donate online, or in their local Parm Army venue by scanning a QR code in the restaurant.
Your local venue needs your support. We have seen an amazing amount of Parm Army venues register to support our farmers all in an effort to help rural Australia rebuild and get our farmers back on their feet. How can you help, you ask? By heading down to your local and ordering a takeaway or dine-in Parma today!
Host a Parma Party
If you can’t make it out to the pub, why not host a Parma Party with your mates at home! Either order takeaway from a participating Parm Army venue, or create your own Parmys at home! Find out more.
Plate of Origin Competition
Take your Parma Party or next get-together to the next level by hosting a Plate of Origin competition with your mates!
We’re putting a delicious spin on one of Australia’s favourite faceoffs! Compete to see who can create the most delectable or unique Parmy, and don’t forget to share your event with us on social media by using the hashtag #ParmaForAFarmer.
Pass Along a Parma
Whether you just finished devouring an amazing Parma at a Parm Army venue, or you’re just looking for a way to support Aussies in need, you can make a real difference in Rural Australia.
Scan a donation QR code at the venue, or head to our donation page. There, you can “pass along a parma” to a farmer by donating the equivalent of a parma or a pint. Every dollar makes a difference, and helps our farming families as they work to rebuild what they’ve lost.
